Local moves are billed per half hour: you pay a rate per 30 minutes for the crew and truck, with the first two hours collected up-front as a deposit and the remainder settled once the job is done.

Time-on-the-job figures come from actual completed moves, recorded by the crew after the job is finished. 2-hour deposit is the typical up-front cost to secure a crew, based on the median half-hour rate (four 30-minute units). Muval collects the first two hours as a deposit when you book.

Yes, all of our prices are GST inclusive.

The earlier you book your move the more confident you can be that the date you wish to move will be available. However, the time in advance that you should book is heavily dependent on the time of year. Between October and March we recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance of when you want to move. From March - September you can leave it a little later, booking 2-3 weeks out.

All furniture items will be wrapped in heavy removalist quilted padding to best protect your furniture; Some removalists will also use shrink wrap as well.

If you have booked the shared truck option, then yes. If you have booked a premium option, then you will not be sharing the truck.

Dismantling and assembling the furniture are not included in our standard pricing but can easily be added to your moving service, just ask.

Yes, it can, as long as you notify us before booking your move.

If you need to change the delivery or pick up date, please advise the removalist as early as possible. They can sometimes accommodate changes and reschedule but this has a few variables.
