Palmers recently managed the removal of our household contents to our new dwelling in Sydney. The removalist crew were two amazing young men - Hemi and Tai. We would like to share with whom it may concern how impressed we were with the efficiency, commitment, care and friendliness of both Hemi and Tai. They did a wonderful job! Not only did all of our goods arrive in perfect order, but Hemi and Tai were so helpful and careful in unloading, positioning and re-assembling everything for us. I recently relocated from Australia to United States. Last year when I was looking for relocation options and gathered quotes from several relocation companies. I found palmers relocation the best so far. Their customer service has been excellent. I was provided with proper/accurate quotes and guidance in what I would need to do and not concerning packing, the timeline of the shipment, US customs declaration all end to end. I was bit nervous and stressed as moving different countries is bit stressful and sometimes challenging. However with the help from palmers relocation, it seems to have ease the problems and made my move really smooth. The movers who came to pack my belongings did a fabulous job concerning my move. The way they packed everything was quite amazing. The quality of products (storage boxes, packaging materials, etc) they used were amazing. They made sure everything was properly packed so there is no damages. Though it took about 5 months (from day of packing to being delivered at my new place) for shipment, I was constantly being notified on the status of my container and when it will be set to depart etc. I am extremely thankful for the recent service I had with Palmers Relocation. I had such an amazing experience with Palmers Relocation that I would highly recommend others!

Palmers Relocation Move Coordinator Leesah Easton went above and beyond start to finish, Leesah was extremely responsive to my emails and guiding me reassuring me every step of the way. It was a massive relocating moving our things from Melbourne Australia to Auckland New Zealand. Leesah was outstanding customer service was impeccable. I couldn't of did it with her, I was very stressed to say the least, but Leesah stuck by me, I was very pushy and sometimes came across very arrogant I just wanted my things asap. Leesha just kept reassuring me and I am not the easiest person to deal with at times, but Leesah was very professional and patient with me. She understood how stressful moving is. Also Palmers Relocation staff a young lad who came to pack our things in Melbourne secure with bubble wrap and paper he did such an outstanding nothing was damaged during shipping and delivery. I received a tracker report update location of my shipment leaving Melbourne and arriving in Sydney and then Auckland Port and update from Palmers Relocation every movement. Customs then give the all clear with our things from container to then unload and last inspection clearance from Quarantine MPI Ministry Primary Industries. Its a waiting game but rest assured when you use Palmers Relocation, you're in excellent hands. Ask for Leesah Easton she's an absolute gun all other Palmers Relocation staff were also fantastic a really great team effort. Although every so slightly higher priced than the other 2 quotes we got to move a fully furnished 3 bedroom house from Melbourne to Wellington NZ, this was worth every penny. The manager Kieran rang yesterday and said they were able to play Tetris with our shared load stock and got it all into the original dedicated container and therefore got a refund for the space we didn't use. I bet the other companies wouldn't have mentioned that. When we move back we will certainly be using Palmers for our relocation. Thanks guys and girls.

I am belatedly posting this review, but after seeing some of the recent negative reviews wanted to note my own experience with Palmers Relocations. I cannot recommend them highly enough!! I hired them to pack up and ship all of my things from Melbourne AU to Boston USA. The team did a 10/10 job carefully packing Everything, large and small including high-value fragile furniture and other items. My contents were put into a container just for me, and shipped to Boston. However, my circumstances changed and I ended up staying in Melbourne. Palmers re-shipped my container from the US back to Melbourne, and unloaded my stuff at my new house. Despite all of my worldly possessions literally travelling around the globe, not a single thing was broken, scratched or damaged. On top of this, they were incredibly responsive, helpful and professional throughout the entire long process. I am a huge fan of Palmers and encourage anyone needing moving/shipping to use their services.

Very impressed with the service provided by Palmers Relocations during our move from Melbourne to Brisbane. Ron was very patient and helpful throughout numerous emails and phone calls. The guys arrived on time for pickup and stacked the container well - any loose items were put into larger boxes or wrapped up in blankets (including the dogs bed!). Delivered was delayed a few hours as a result of the QLD flooding so 4 guys were sent instead of 2 for unloading to speed up the process. Palmers were more expensive than other quotes received but they provided excellent service. Highly recommend!

They are both very friendly, responsive and extremely helpful. There are some minor hiccups but was dealt accordingly. We used Palmers Relocations to move from Sydney Aus to Auckland NZ. We obtained quotes from a few companies and Palmers not only were the lowest price but also the only company to explain what was happening with freight due to COVID and international freight delays and port congestion charges. No one else even mentioned that there could be additional charges or included this in their pricing, Their sales consultant was very knowledgeable about what we could and couldn't take back in NZ and sorted all paperwork and quoted insurance a few different ways for us. She even told us and explain the way we could take all our Australian wine collection into NZ without having to pay any duty! The pack up crew were exceptional. They were friendly and professional and before starting anything made sure to go around the house and get us to point out what were our valuable items in terms of dollar value and sentimental value to treat with extra care. They explained their marking system of noting existing wear and tear for any future insurance claim. They turned up when they said they would and even called in additional resources to ensure they got packed up in a single day. The move/export coordinator kept us updated on the status of our container and attempts to book this on a boat. As this was during covid and with the resulting port congestion this was a volatile time to try and pack up and move. They called me on more than one occasion to give as an update on what ship they were trying to get us onto and their estimate ETA of the container back into NZ . Once we did have our ship confirmed, they sent us updates right until the container was on the water and then their contractor in NZ (Van Lines) took over who then sent us updates in the form of essentially a track and trace of the shipping boat and once it landed updated us on the customs process and end delivery to us. NZ Van lines were fast and efficient unpacking Auckland side and we experienced no damage to any items. Packing up your entire life and putting it into boxes to then ship overseas is not an easy decision and the decision over which company you trust to do that packing and actual moving is also a huge decision. We are so glad we went with Palmers as everyone was super friendly and explained all details to us along the way. Communication from both Palmers and NZ Van lines were clear and meant we could make arrangements on what we needed and for how long before our stuff got reunited to us. We will definitely be using them again if we move back and would recommend them to anyone thinking of making the same life move from Sydney to Auckland that we did.

We used ELL (Dubai) to relocate from the UAE. They were outstanding in packing and keeping us abreast of the various steps prior to shipping our belongings to Australia. They were delivered the following week (ie yesterday - 23rd August). All is good now except that, again there are items still missing, we have some personal clothing that were packed in 2 suitcases that we did not receive. I spoke to Michael and he said he will ask that they be located in the warehouse and delivered to us when they are found. We were very stressed since due to border closures we could not go back to Australia and all our belongings were left there for more than a year. I do understand this due to not a lot of people moving or booking shipments because of Covid and hence, our container not getting full. The issue with them is that during those 7 months of waiting and worrying, you don't get any updates initiated by them. You have to call or email them and if it's email, sometimes replies takes days. There is no empathy as well from them, you will only be told the container is still not full or that basically the timeframes are just estimates and not guaranteed. The good thing is their partner company here in NZ who delivered our shipment was very good and responsive. With regards to our belongings, most of them were okay except for one fragile item having some scratches. Overall, I wish Palmers would improve on their aftersales or customer service team. Reading the other reviews here on Google it seems to be a common sentiment among their clients.

I dealt with Leesah who was very friendly and responsive but unfortunately Palmers' contractors failed to deliver my things on time. We had asked for early December and in late December, we got confirmation that everything was in a warehouse 40 minutes away but none of their drivers answered their phones and were unable to commit to a delivery date. I had to therefore hire a moving van and go collect my boxes myself.

Although the initial process of engaging with Palmers was wonderful and straight forward, the service from packing to delivery, has left us feeling really let down. Although quoted for edit* 6cubic meters, it eventuated that we had an additional 4 cubic meters (approx) this was calculated once items brought back to their warehouse, and as we were moving overseas two days later, we had no time to go and see why the initial quote had blown so out of proportion, and had to accept what they said, even though when they arrived to pack up they had enough boxes for our initially quote, we were 4 boxes over. We then paid for a detailed individualised insurance cover - which has proven to be useless to us, at no point was it discussed that we would be opening a business once landing overseas, and no time to unpack within 30 days. As we have finally started unpacking - many, many items are broken, shoved haphazardly into boxes, ceramic family heirlooms placed directly on top of others, ladles still inside tureens with no packaging, etc, etc, glass jugs smashed, engagement presents ruined, photo frames smashed. Once contacted, it turns out nothing we can do, and they are not showing any remorse or care for how they have treated our goods. Really disappointing, would avoid, as although competitively priced, we ended up paying more through (grossly overestimated) 'extra' items and useless insurance, and their customer service once the job has been accepted, is not customer focused. In response to your response, many boxes were hardly filled at all, and very poorly packed, many items were broken due to glass being wrapped in paper and placed in ceramic items etc, we itemised all items in the individual insurance quote. To re-iterate, our experience is : first contact very amenable and easy, follow up customer service was not up to par, we were not happy with the end result - and I would advise all people seeking to relocate to consider the following, have someone come out to quote, not over the phone, be specific on how your precious items are packed, and over see the packing.

Atrocious performance. Whole home move from Sydney to Cairns. On arrival Cairns the unpacking guys called me into their van to show me the damage that had been done by poor packing by their Sydney employees. No protection or tie down of our large fridge. Both doors destroyed. On contacting Palmers they informed me you should have bought insurance. This was not an insurance claim. It was negligence on behalf of Palmers. Many stories of similar outcomes by this lot.

We are both teachers and we frequently relocate to fulfill international teaching roles. AVOID PALMER RELOCATION. Worst experience ever. After they picked up the stuff for an international move, they send me an additional invoice of 900 dollars because their estimate was wrong. They tried to charge me for the same insurance twice, I still got the email. I got the stuff delivered from another company Schmidt relocation. So they just send all the belongs to another company and I had to deal with them for the tracking of my stuff Who did I pay for the move?? Palmers or Schmidt???? What a joke The told me it would take from 12-15 weeks for the relocation. I took 24/25 weeks. A lot of boxes with expensive belongs went missing or maybe somebody stole it. I am talking about thousands of dollars and the offer me 300 dollars refund. The owner of this company just want to take your money and then is going to be your problem. The worst person I ever deal with.

Worst experience with relocations company. To move our household interstate in June/July 2020, we obtained 3 quotes for full service relocation from 3 companies, all members of the Australian Furniture Removers Association. Palmers Relocation was more costly but we were sold on the detail in which the Relocation Consultant assessed our well organised household, assurance of expertise packing up and knowledge of the industry which was important given we were in the middle of a pandemic. We had called all the relevant public health departments on both sides and also checked with Palmers if anything else was needed given the pandemic. Unfortunately, things started to fall apart when it came to the work: the packing-moving team were sullen, did not wear PPE, and careless (cracked tv chassis, broken crystal glasses, broken washer, broken sit-stand desk, linen left unpacked, and excrement left in toilet). Worse, upon arriving at our destination - their destination partners had not been informed we were from Melbourne and when we said so, they refused to unload. Finally when we spoke to Palmers General Manager, he told us that it's our problem if their destination partners refused to unload, as Palmers have done their job which was to get us from A to B. We were and still are shocked at Palmers washing their hands off the matter. I took it upon myself to ring the COVID hotline who assured us and the destination partners that they can proceed with their work and that we we had and are following public health protocol. After 2-hours of angst, the unloading commenced and the destination team did a great job. I am deeply disappointed at the lack of job ownership, leadership and communication with their partners and clients by Palmers. In the last 15 years, I moved countries, interstate and homes several times and the experience with Palmers is the biggest disappointment. I would not relocate with this company again: things can always go wrong and it is how we response to work through those tough situations is what matters.

My $1,800 tv was damaged beyond repair during transit. Their appointed insurer paid out $300 (cost me $577 for insurance), so I'm the only one out of pocket.

Every step of the way Jason has been useless, full of excuses why things weren't done, made us pay thousands more than first quoted and then became rude and fobbed us off. Our cars and container were supposed to be sent from Victoria Australia to Christchurch New Zealand within 2 to 3 weeks but took 12 to 14 weeks, which we paid extra to have brought over earlier but were only partly reimbursed for the delay. When our cars arrived they were both seriously scratched in identical places, which I believe was negligence (not accidental) so when I contacted Jason he just fobbed me off to their quality and risk manager Katie who simply sent me an insurance claim form. Im not paying an excess for their negligence but she persisted in emailing me again telling me I should lodge a claim but has yet to call me to discuss this matter. Just more fobbing off and carelessness from Palmers. WARNING: DO NOT ENGAGE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TRAUMATISED AND LEFT THOUSANDS OUT OF POCKET!!

We have received 20 feet container from India. To upload they have sent only 2 people to unload with horrible conditions like they can't unload all boxes as they don't keep stuff on floor. can't fix beds with more than 8 screws. We unloaded boxes to give empty boxes to them to dispose bcoz they are so rush. I don't understand why they are in rush and these crazy rules. I share the views of other reviewers that I cannot comprehend how this company has achieved such a high scoring rating. I used Palmers in 2021 for an International move. The sales team were excellent before the move started but again thats where it stops. When the move started they just ignore you and no return of calls! Disputes over bank transfers for payment, unanswered correspondence, issues over quoted and then received insurance, theft of brand new items in packing, yes theft and refused to investigate, that's criminal! Poorly packed items, broken on arrival. It just goes on. We're talking $1000's dollars damage received a few hundred back! The local team in our overseas location were excellent, pity i can't say the same for Palmers in Australia. If you hear that name based on our experience run in the opposite direction!

I used Palmers to move my items. They made an error and did not follow the instructions set out via email. I was clear they were to follow the emailed instructions, I was unable to be present on the day, this was due to their inability to meet the original scheduled date for removal. They instead took directions from the person present, I had clearly stated not to do this. They didn't try to call me, or clarify. A piece of furniture was collected and moved to Sydney. When it was clearly their error, they simply threw back to their own T&Cs to cover themselves (being that you must indicate a person, not just an address for collection). Took zero responsibility for their mistake, the options available to me was to pay $2000 to have piece of furniture returned to where it was collected, $500 to have it destroyed. The piece removed, was a piece from my parents estate that had sentimental value, unfortunately, I had no choice but to give it away for free, as I simply couldn't afford these options. A mirror was also collected that was never indicated on the collection sheet and did not arrive at the other end. I didn't even bother to raise this with them as I knew they would find a way to blame me, as the customer. This mirror was a gift from my parents for my birthday years ago, it had huge sentimental value. Expensive, poor service.

It looked like another large item had been dropped on top. They might as well have taken an axe to it. Repairs are costing us $2000. My partner and I have NOT received our delivery of boxes that Palmers picked up in June 2020 (delivery ETA: Sep/Oct), and they have changed the shipment dates of the container 5 TIMES on us. To boot, we were the ones consistently following up with them by email. Two of my friends who have also moved internationally received their shipments with other relocation companies within 2-3 months. READ THE GOOGLE REVIEWS THOROUGHLY We chose Palmers because of their high Google reviews, but now that this has happened to us, I question the validity of the reviews. I suggest sorting by "Most recent" and read through the reviews thoroughly and critically read for whether a review seems trustworthy. Do not rely on the aggregate score. The Palmers sales and support team are engaged, responsive and good at selling, but Palmers (as a business) can't seem to deliver on their core product: international shipping logistics, shipping goods from A to B -- which is the key thing we want from a relocation company. DO NOT RECOMMEND I'm so frustrated and highly disappointed with Palmers. They are far from efficient. I would NOT recommend Palmers to anyone looking for international relocation services. If/when we ever get our boxes, I will update this review. -- Update on Apr 18, 2022 Shipment date for April 5th did not commence, so we followed up once again. It has changed for the 6th time. I am very sad to say that our interaction with Palmers was not good. Our Shipment was from Melbourne to Singapore and we have not received all our items at the destination. On raising the concern about the lost items, we are always getting the response that it was not their fault and we signed the receipt so they cant do anything else. Lesson learnt is to make sure that check all the items before signing the receipt or conditionally sign it, as they keep on highlighting the point that it was signed by customer. It is very difficult to unpack and check the items and then sign it , which they used against us.

Worst experience ever! I regret so much that I chose Palmers for my removal. Zero communication from the operational team after I made my booking. I called twice the day before my move to find out the pick-up time, no one answered the call and nobody called me back even I left a message! Then I received a text message at 5:42am on the removal date, saying that the team will be here(but what time?!). 3 weeks after they picked up my stuffs, I found out my shipment was still in melbourne waiting for other people to fill the container before they can send to WA. The quotation indicates share service to be completed within 2-3 weeks time. But when I called the account manager, he said no control on the lead time if it's share service. The account manager didn't care about the client feedback at all, and was not trying to offer any help to improve the situation. THANK YOU Palmers for giving me such a MEMORABLE experience! We are not sure if this is procedure? Our bedframes were just slapped with stickers, not wrapped - an example is the metal beam in the attached photo. The microwave oven was not boxed up as well. We were informed by the sales team that carton boxes will be used to pack our plastic containers. But as you can see, they only placed stickers on the plastic containers, and the plastic seals of these boxes were not secured by tape or some other appropriate packing material. We enquired several times during the packing process but were simply told repeatedly that they will be 'bubblewrapped' in their facility in Sydney, leading us to believe this is standard operating procedure. In contrast, our prior experience with Crown Relocations in the move to Australia was positive right from the start. For instance, our plastic boxes were securely packed in carton boxes in our residence before being transferred. Seeing how some of the items were packed by the Palmers Relocation crew made us wonder if they would be damaged during the journey. We do not have much confidence now and will change the rating once we are reassured by the office folks' that our items are really going to be repacked properly.

Palmers were engaged by my insurance company to pack, move and unpack my house, following a significant weather event. There are two sides to this company, the packing team did a terrible job, boxes were not labelled correctly and their inventory was next to useless. We have spent weeks trying to find things they didn't even write a consistent room name on boxes. After watching the way they were handling my goods I had to leave the house, it was a terrible experience. There was lots of swearing (including written on boxes that my kids saw), goods were stuffed into boxes crushing everything, all our outdoor furniture was stained and damaged after being dragged across the ground, boxes were crushed, equipment broken and they simply left whatever they couldn't fit behind, leaving me to sort this out. When they drove off, they took out a large tree branch with their truck and just left it on the road for the council to fix. On the other end, the staff who delivered were highly professional, courteous and friendly. They were meant to have more staff to assist with the delivery and unpacking (who didn't show up) but they did the best they could, albeit they did not unpack as agreed. They took note of some of the damage and advised us to take note of any further damage as we unpacked, and the company would sort it out. They were equally surprised with the amount of damage and the poor labelling of boxes, this made their job equally difficult. I have subsequently met with their GM, Kieran, and it's clear where this culture stems. Kieran did admit they did not allow enough time to pack (he blamed the insurance company for 'pressuring him'), thus it was not packed as they normally would. Unfortunately, whilst Kieran saw all the damage and said it would be sorted out, he has failed to make good on any of the damage, saying he has written a report and sent it elsewhere then avoiding communication, and advising I would need to communicate through his legal team. I have since obtained this report where he has declined to make good on the vast majority as they are 'still in working order' - despite being stained, scratched and smashed. For example, the supporting base that holds water to a basketball ring was smashed, however as the ring itself is serviceable, Palmers have only offered partial compensation - the fact that it could fall on my kids when unsupported is deemed irrelevant. Kieran is also stipulating the condition report, which I never saw nor signed, says there was pre-existing damage. This is completely false. Subsequent to this, a supposed Palmers legal representative made contact with me and advised they had been sent a letter 'regarding my small claim' and seemingly tried to provide advice to me. This seemed an attempt to make me find this process too difficult and walk away, I suggested they are better off providing advice to their own client. I would suggest exercising caution with this company and clearly would not recommend them. I am surprised at the number of positive reviews.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Hidden charges galore and will sneak extra charges in last minute. We moved from Australia to Ireland, initally the quote was good and we were happy to proceed with our shipment. The day before the removal we were notified that there was an "extra charge" and were informed that the operator we dealt with was misinformed. No compromise given to us and due to the short notice we felt stuck and went with the new quote. We moved in August 2019 and everything was delivered. We thought we were done with Palmers, however in July 2020 they charged our Australian account over $200 for nothing. Only for us having notifications on our Australian bank account we would of never known they debited us,as they never sent an invoice to us and they failed to explain what this charge was for. We followed this up and currently awaiting our refund, in the meantime I've advised our Australian bank to refuse any future payments requested by Palmers. If I was doing the move again, I would not go with Palmers. At the beginning their rate was the cheapest, but as mentioned earlier they produce these extra charges last minute and to top it off they will try debit you again once you are in another country. Go with seven seas or the other companies, they are more competent and trustworthy than this lot.

Palmers will make sure your cocktail umbrellas arrive safely, delicately wrapping them in sheets and sheets of paper. However your large items will barely be cared for. Every one of my large items was barely wrapped in protective packing and all arrived broken beyond repair - cracked tables, shattered status, broken mirrors and chipped bed frame components. What a waste! Delivery guys at the other end did a dump and run, leaving me out of pocket to have to have things unpacked and assembled by an alternative service. No apology, no compensation. Moving to Australia from Europe, Palmers Relocations are supposed to service the delivery end to our shipping. Our shipping apparently has arrived in Australia about 3 weeks ago, which I was informed about by the European relocation company. Trying to get any kind of information or update from Palmers, since they reached out to get an invoice paid has been impossible. General phone line and direct lines indicated in Emails equally end in Voicemail Nirvana. I am using the term Nirvana, as actual Voicemails remain unanswered to date. Same story for emails, unanswered to date. And not surprisingly the fancy We'll text you function on the webpage does not get me an answer or any closer to having an actual conversation with a human being. I am not sure what else to try except knock on the office doors for some feedback.

First of all, for those who won't be reading the full review, let me make it very clear that I strongly recommend against entrusting Palmer's Relocations with your relocation project. Im not usually much for writing reviews, or complaining, but after giving it some thought I decided that I should write this, as I would have liked to have had this kind of information before deciding to place my trust with Palmer's Relocations. Our family had a big international relocation coming up, and had to find a shipping company to move our select belongings. We put a fair bit of effort into making the decision, since they would be handling our belongings of both monetary and affection value. Unfortunately, Palmer's sales rep was very nice, so combined with their high online rating, we thought we had found just the right company. They advised us that due to the Covid situation, we should expect 2-3 months of shipping time. After 2 months, our things had not even left Australia, and it took 6 months before we saw our belongings again. Communication about these delays was almost non-existent, unless we reached out for information. Palmer's had advised us that we were to let them pack our things for insurance purposes, and sold us a (rather expensive) replacement cost insurance policy. When we had received our belongings, we would unpack several items with significant damage, including an original aboriginal painting we had bought in Central Australia (we had even told them that this was one of the most important items to us). This and another painting had been packed canvas-against-canvas, with a sharp-edged chess board in between, tightly in a picture carton. The canvas and the paint was badly damaged. Other items, such as an almost-new king size mattress, had not been packed to undergo a 6-month shipping trip in various weather conditions, and the mattress was moldy and not something you'd be happy to sleep on. We also had to throw out a lot of clothing that had been miscoloured. We obviously expected that our items would be covered by our insurance policy. We only made a claim for some of the items, figuring that misc. clothing etc was hard to quantify. Soon after, Palmer's sent us a refusal, stating that all of the items were already damaged when they packed them, and none of the items could form part of an insurance claim. They referenced some code annotations from the packing list, which they had not explicitly informed us about. Apparently, they had marked the mattress as soiled, something you would have to find in the small print, code annotation description (they only verbally asked me to check that all items were on the list). They also pointed out that I had signed, upon receiving the items, that they were in the same condition as when they were sent. I asked whether they expected me to hold up the driver while I unpacked 7.5m3 worth of packed items. Their reply: well, then you should have added 'subject to checking when unpacking'. How would I know? After months of rather unpleasant conversations, in which I pointed out that they had mistaken about the artwork item number, Palmer's agreed to include our artwork in a claim, but only the cost of purchase although we had paid for the replacement cost policy. After policy excess, we only received roughly what corresponds to the price of the policy itself. There was a distinct change in the tone from when they were selling us the service, to once the items were underway. Palmer's are unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes, and are more than willing to imply that you're dishonest and fraudulent. Their communication was not very pleasant, and felt deliberately slow and purposefully dragged out. Im sure that if our belongings arrived in good condition, I would have been happy with Palmer's Relocations, as I would not have learned how they behave when things go wrong. But it is exactly the unfortunate situations, where things go wrong, that one learns whether a company can take responsibility, and provide a professional and fair resolution.

I shipped three suitcases with Palmers relocations at the beginning of July, and am still yet to receive them despite being told it would only take three months maximum to receive my shipment. Whenever I contact them to find out the progress of my items they either ignore my emails or take weeks to reply. At this stage I feel they have lost my items, I would not recommend! My friend used a different provider and shipped later then me and they have their suitcases.

Last Thursday 3rd August, my wife & I moved house. We engaged removalist company Palmers Relocations & it was the worst decision of our lives. They have no communication skills, or organisation skills. Our move was confirmed the morning before we moved including the packing. We paid them to pack for us!! They turned & had no knowledge of the packing!!! I called & called to sort the issue & nothing eventuated!! We are seniors!! I spent all day packing!!! & I shouldn't have. They broke a lamp that we owned for over 20 yrs, took a chunk out of a wall (which has now been fixed) & broke a portable clothes line The company was also supposed to deliver a dining room table & buffet to my nephew (which) he paid for. While unloading - I HAD TO SIT WITH THE TRUCK IN THE FREEZING NIGHT AS A SECURITY GUARD 3-4 HOURS We finished at 10.45pm & had diner at 11pm. Needless to say delivery to my nephew didn't happen!! Thankfully it was delivered next morning. We are all physically & mentally exhausted from this traumatic event. We are seeking compensation & as of this morning have heard nothing.

Do not recommend for International Moving! Words can not describe how completely incompetent they are. We moved from Sydney to New Zealand in February. Palmers have completely messed up our move. We received half of our household effects in May, 13 weeks after they were shipped (Palmers assured us it would be 6-8 weeks in the first instance) only to find out that half of household effects were still sitting in Palmers storage and hadn't even been sent yet!!! Palmers were very responsive when they realised the mistake and apparently "prioritised" this shipment. They advised us they were shipped one week after realising this mistake early June and sent us tracking details. We have been patiently tracking our goods on the boat and waiting for customs clearance.. Only now to be advised mid July, that half of our processions are still in Sydney and have not even left Australia yet and they had neglected to tell us. Realistically we are looking at receiving our goods in September 8-9months after they were packed, at this stage I am getting doubtful we will see these items ever again.
