I used Jolly Good Removals to move all our furniture and household items into storage. The removalists Gino and Jake were very professional, careful and efficient in getting our stuff into and off the truck. Gino even advised that the storage unit we had leased would not be enough for everything for had, so we were able to secure another unit just in time (Gino claimed he was the brains of the operation, I'm starting to believe him). If I could give a minus 5 I would! The staff who performed the move on the day were lovely, but dealing with the owner, Jolly himself, at the end of the day, was a truly awful experience. I am hoping this review will help save others from having to go through what I went through. He spoke over me, tried to intimidate me, and would not listen to me, was condescending and rude. Firstly, Jolly tried to overcharge me an hour, then when I tried to discuss a dispute over the bill due to him sending a smaller truck than was ordered requiring us to do 2 trips causing an additional 1.5 hours to be added unnecessarily to the day, he continued his bullying tactics. I was shaking when I got off the phone with him. I would strongly recommend to never use this business. EDIT - my response to Emily: Emily, I tried to negotiate to sort this out, but Jolly remained stubborn - even calling me to harass me further, when I explicitly stated I didn't want to talk to him any further. He wouldn't budge which is why I wrote this review. I feel sorry for you that you have to constantly come along and clean up his messes..... You sound very reasonable and like you do a good job and have great customer service skills - it's a pity your good work gets ruined by a bully like him.

I booked a removal of a few items through this company from 10-12pm as I had to sleep before night shift. 12:20pm I had to ring and ask where they were. They arrived with the removalist guys (who were absolutely fantastic and did a great job!) telling me I was lucky I called cause I wasn't even booked in. Then the manager Adrian proceeded to have an extended argument with me when I questioned him on this and said I wouldn't be paying the full fee. Don't go through this company you're better off ringing the removalists directly themselves.

Don't ever use this removal service!!, terrible unprofessional and rude!. My parents used them to move and had the worst experience. The movers were taking personal and work calls stopping and leisurely taking their time when they are getting paid by the hour. When questioned one of them responded with Im usually in the office. How unprofessional is that? You're not in the office now!! And your being paid to move. Also my farther was asked to move furniture when they are the ones providing the service and we are paying them. It took five and a half hours to move half a storage unit that was 20 minutes from the destination totalling $900.00. We had emptied out the other half the day prior and it took us 2 1/2 hours. I thought I would give my parents a break and pay for a mover. This is disgusting how you treat two elderly pensioners shame on this business EDIT He was chatting with us while we were doing our job and we had a good laugh. ( if that was the case why was he lifting!!! I have two whitenesses as my farther was doing your workers job because they were standing around taking calls on our time??) Just to clarify there were 2 storage units we moved for your parents , 1st one was half full of boxes and other items. The second storage unit was full all the way to the back and to the top. We end up filling up our 45 cubic meter truck all the way to the back and to the top and manage to fit everything in. (And just to clarify no it was one storage unit) There was no damage to anything, everything was protected and delivered safely. Unfortunately one of the drivers was unwell therefore we had to replace him with one of the staff member who is fully trained removalist but works in the office now. He worked in the industry for last 10 years. We apologise that we had to attend work calls as this was explained to Alan at the start of the job. We understand it is not ideal to attend calls while moving but it was one of those situations where we could not ignore other customers. At no point we asked Alan to lift anything. Your mother got upset because work phone was ringing and we attended a call. We apologised and kept working further ignoring any calls. Alex apologised the way your mum spoke to the staff and said she is stressed. We understand that people do get stressed while moving. (This was NEVER discussed with Alex. It is very unprofessional taking personal/work calls whilst working this is not the way operations should run. Administration should be separate from labour and this was on our time which we were paying for. If you want to manage bookings do not waste customers time and money. And the response was very unprofessional) We asked Alex if he was happy with the job and Alex even said at least I did not have to move these many boxes myself and thank you so much. (Our family was not happy with the job whatsoever hence the negative review. And yes my father moved items!) We arrived on time, did the job without any breakage, 5.5 Hours for 45 cubic meter loading and unloading with travel is reasonable as per Industry standards. If there is anything you would like to discuss please feel free to call us. (This is very unacceptable time management I have no idea what industry standards you are referring to as it should have never taken that long, as I have had removal services move the same amount in exactly half the time. Not happy with the service at all)

Latest move despite them booking for 11 they got here at 1 . Then on the unload they dropped the television my 3000 dollar LG smart TV and smashed .. first they stated it was my fault, then he decided he was going to try and replace it with some cheap one off market place . I advised that this was not the case and have not heard from him since despite multiple attempts to contact him. I have given him 7 days to reimburse or a court proceeding will begin. Still nothing. Very unprofessional!
