I had booked ELP Movers for 7am but there was an issue with the truck Vitor and Pedro were to use. They contacted me asap and kept me updated on ETA of 8am. They were very communicative, positive guys and they moved all of my items without many issues and with great care. They even came up with innovative solutions when we had minor bumps (figuratively). We went overtime by a bit but we were prepared and knew what to expect. Vitor explained the pricing completely to us at the end, it was very transparent with no hidden fees. The move went very smoothly and I would highly recommend these guys!!

Prompt and persistent customer service prior to the move. Non-existent customer service after the move when issues were raised. Was quoted 3 hours total move time but instead took 6.5 hours. The two movers were nice guys and were polite enough but instead of filling the lift with items each trip, they chose to just put 1-2 pieces in the lift at a time. One of the fellas was also messaging on his phone the majority of the time instead of carrying/moving items. A number of items incurred minor damage and a number of boxes were transported on their side or upside down resulting in damaged items inside. As a customer, it's easy to feel as though the move could have gone a little bit quicker had the guys wanted, but it seemed they just wanted to get a full days pay on a Saturday at my expense. Should have raised these issues at time of paying so that's my problem but the customer service after the move is disappointing. Would find it extremely difficult to recommend to friends in the future and also won't be using them again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Whilst polite, they are very slow. I myself had to become the third mover to quicken things up. 2 bedroom home moving to an apartment, and while the first floor apartment had a relatively small lift, it took 9 hours (almost $1,500). The stairs were faster than the lift and the lift was used every time. The whole thing took far too long in my view and I can't imagine how long it would have taken (and cost) if I didn't help!! I was working at a much faster pace than the movers and they even acknowledged that. Pot plants even I can carry with one hand were being put on the trolley one at a time. I can't help but feel that if the job isn't going to take half a day, they extend to make it a full day (good for business, bad for customers). They also damaged my couch in numerous areas and both front doors. It has been over 2 months and I call/email weekly to chase my claim. I am yet to have a response despite them admitting fault and stating they will fix it. Save yourself the headache and use a reputable removalist.

THIS COMPANY IS A BIG FRAUD. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM AT ANY COST. DO NOT TRUST THEIR FAKE FIVE STAR REVIEWS. I hired them to move a two bedroom place and even after ELEVEN HOURS they did not finish the job. They then threatened to leave with half of my stuff still in their truck unless I sign their form. Helpless and desperate I signed it and they left everything that was in the truck in the garage on the ground floor. Details: Two men and a truck came at 3:30 pm (confirmation on email was for arrival between 12-2 pm). The movers acted too tired from the previous job and told us to hire a third person through them with $40 an hour cash!! We simply could not afford that on top of $130 an hour already agreed fee. So then they started moving things at super slow speed and even at 1:30 am were not finished half way through! That too after leaving at least 1/3 of things at the first place because they "could not fit them in their truck". We provided the full itinerary in advance with extra numbers as we did not want any issues on the move date. It was a two bedroom but only one person's stuff, everything packed in boxes ready to go, we even threw out some of the furniture to save the time and the other place only 20 minutes drive away!! I am literally suffering from a trauma from this experience. We called the office many times at and after 4 pm, as soon as the movers started talking about the third person and no one answered our calls! I even sent emails and no response! But the next day they very promptly sent an invoice stating the job was complete, even though I stated in my emails that how so much stuff was still at the old place and in the garage, and deducted half of the invoice amount from my bank directly without permission!!!! How these people are allowed to run business is beyond me because they are clearly cheating their customers. What movers cannot move a two bedroom place (with one person stuff) in ELEVEN HOURS??? I wish I could give them minus rating. I have never had such an experience in my life, after moving multiple times in Sydney!! I am going to need some months to recover from this traumatic experience. I was left in a helpless, desperate situation, with stuff left at the old place and in the garage. I had to hire different movers to move them all with extra cost. I could not clean the place the next day so ended up paying for one more day's rent and frantically searched for a cleaner who charged a much higher amount for end moment booking! Adding my response to ELP's reply: Thanks for bringing this to everyone's attention that it took a threat to call the police to stop your people from running away and stealing my stuff! I had completely forgotten to add that. Do you expect the customer to not show an ounce of retaliation under such a threat? Seriously? Instead of apologising and offering any type of consolation you're further trying to put the blame on your customer? Yes the end time was 2:15 am.. from 3:30 pm count the hours.. that's almost 11 hours for an incomplete job of moving a two bedroom place 20 minutes away!!! and you sent me another invoice for 14.25 hours!! Where did that come from? Also the situation with the staircase was always mentioned at the time of booking as your booking confirmation email also has those details and of course you will now make the totally false excuse of having to move more things than itinerary! The parking was done by your incompetent driver who could not park on the driveway of the building. I also clearly mentioned on your form that I had to sign it under threat and that the job is incomplete. I have photos of that form and videos of everything that occurred on that day. No one was yelling or being disrespectful during the day or even on the call. So stop making excuses. You're trying to compensate for this trauma with one hour of discount after sending me a false invoice for 14.25 hours? I am being charged more than $1900 for an incomplete job!! Was quoted on the job, actually ended up selling a lot of the stuff so had about 1/2 to 3/4 of what was quoted. Everything boxed, packed up and was in front of the door ready to go out. Took them hours to get things on the truck. Then told they'll have to do a second load as they didn't have room on the truck. Which Im not sure how considering we had way less than quoted. I waited with them until their truck was packed and they were ready to go. We were moving 1 suburb over less than 10mins away. I drove and parked and went up and opened the place and waited 45mins for them. They were leaving right after me to drive down the road. So they said they're going to a job down the road and they'll be back to finish in a couple of hours. This was around 2. Rocked up at 9:30pm to finish it. Even the small amount left took them 2 hours. The job should have taken 4 hours absolute maximum. It took 7 hours. 2 bedroom apartment moving 1 suburb over took them 7 hours. All through the day we were emailing James in the Sydney office (which is clearly an overseas call centre), to let him know what was happening. And have been fighting with them ever since as they've barely responded. The job finished at 1130pm. Which is ridiculous in itself. After the move the guys asked to give a good review. I just nodded and walked upstairs as I wanted to go to bed. James, the overseas call centre guy in the Sydney office has been nothing short of putrid in his lack of customer service and responses. This company should never be used if you want to have a decent and headache free move. It's just a bunch of people that they send the jobs out to. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with ELP Movers. I feel compelled to share my disappointment and frustration to alert others about the subpar service I received. Firstly, the movers assigned to my job were not only moving at a snail's pace, but they were also constantly engaged in phone conversations while on the clock. This not only reflected a lack of professionalism but also left me feeling like I was paying for a service that was not being prioritized. To make matters worse, I had specifically arranged for furniture assembly as part of the moving service. However, after unloading the last piece, the movers informed me that they were unable to assemble the furniture as they had another moving appointment scheduled. This was completely contradictory to the agreement we had in place, leaving me with unassembled furniture and a sense of frustration. The overall lack of communication and professionalism displayed by the movers from ELP Movers was not only disappointing but also unacceptable. Moving is a stressful process, and hiring professionals is meant to alleviate some of that stress, not add to it. I strongly advise others to reconsider using ELP Movers based on my experience. The combination of slow-moving, distracted staff and unfulfilled promises made for an unpleasant and regrettable moving day.

Moved my father & sister with a number of missing items (electronics). Several items broken, including a floor lamp shade. Was quoted 4hrs and ended up 9.5hrs. It was like the guys were deliberately going slow.

I booked in to move on a Friday and was told that the movers would be there between 7am and 8am. The afternoon before the move I got a call saying there had been a problem that day and they would not be able to get to me until between 12 and 1. I was fine with that but when they turned up they took one look at my electronic organ and said we won't move that. I had notified the company of the item when I booked and even sent pictures beforehand. The movers insisted they would not move it and that they had not been notified of the item by the company. They refused to move it (even though me and my 70yr old father had moved it in). The company was not able to send anyone else until the next day. When the next day came the 3 guys moved everything fine but it was not moved on the day I had booked and wasted a whole day.
