Packing and Uplift: Townsville 31 Jan 2019 The two lads who came to prepackage everything were absolutely brilliant. They treated everything with respect and were very efficient. They assisted me with knowing what I could and should pack. They did it all with great humour. ???????? definitely a double thumbs up! A big thank you to Matty and Scotty! 1 Feb 2019 This was the day these guys went above and beyond. Despite it being 100yrs extreme rain weather event they packed everything quickly and carefully. They put a lot of effort into keeping everything dry and were extra careful with the furniture moving around doors and hallways. They kept up the good humour and kept my spirts up when I realised that we were moving house in a crisis monsoon wet times. They showed how utterly awesome they were when I had to go drop the car off at the trade-In only to discover I had a front flat tyre. In biggest Townsville rain ever these three guys changed my flat for me when I was just about to throw the towel in. Our house is on a hill so without blocks the car rolls back and twists the jack. These guy got out in the pouring rain, sorted that out and changed the tyre and made jokes so I wouldn't loose spirit. They got everything sorted and allowed me to get going to the car drop off. Then they went back to moving furniture right away! Absolutely Legendary! Biggest thanks to Matty, James and Chandler. The movers were great. But there was poor communication, lack of information, I told them it was a first time using a removalist and no guidance was given during the process. No timeframe or anything. I was told during the quotation that it will take only 3/4 days to move from Cairns to Brisbane, and after my furniture was taken they told me my delivery date was 2 weeks after. So not 3/4 days anymore. We had already traveled to Brisbane with my one year old and had no furniture, we had to spend more money on hotel, which we had planned for a few nights but not two weeks. When the furniture arrived, after emailing them to tell them that our drive way was too small and they could park outside they still came with the big truck (the movers didn't received the information) which didn't fit in our drive way and had to wait a whole extra day for them to have a smaller truck. Which we had pay another night at the hotel. The movers in Cairns and Brisbane were great, quick and hard workers, very nice and professional. It's just the lack of communication, guidance and miscommunication between what it is said in person and what's said in an email that have created a lot of trouble and extra spending.

Utilised A&R to move some large furniture from one suburb of cairns to another. No plan or timeframe was ever communicated with me, and follows up had to be instigated be me. When asked about time frames was told they'd call me back and they never did. I understand some computer problems may have been impacted usual service. As one should, I requested three quotes for my transfer of household goods from a lockup to my home garage. The disparity in the five quotes that I ended up getting was surprising considering that the distance between both properties was only eight kilometres. I based my one star rating not on the A&R service but rather based on finding their quotation more than double that of the successful bidder, who incidentally performed the work professionally and without a hitch. I therefore noted that they, on this occasion were "Too expensive".

We paid extra for a shipping container to avoid our possessions being loaded and reloaded during inter state move. This was a waste of money as our belongings were still unloaded and reloaded during the journey and our fridge and new barbecue were badly damaged along with several other items arriving with scratches, even the enamel lid of washing machine has a large chip. This would have needed quite a bump to achieve. The manager in Cairns doesn't care and just said we should have taken out insurance. Insurance should be for if the truck has an accident or fire. It should not be required to pay for carelessness by their staff or contractors. I will be lodging a claim with QCAT tomorrow. Very disappointed with this company and would definitely not recommend them to anyone. Service: In-state moving

Terrible. Disappeared for 3 hours mid move. Very slow. Complained the whole time. Said they'd pick boxes up, never turned up. Cannot recommend less

Ive had to use them a few times with my moves for work. Something always gets broken. Little thought goes into the unload. 100kg of gear on top of a microwave, dents and scratches on white goods. Really really really disappointed AGAIN with the service. I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy.

Had a guy come around to quote me to move internationally, everything was all good and I was happy with the verbal quote so he said he would put it to paper and have it to me in the next week. After several calls I was still promised it was coming the next day. It was two weeks when I decided I need to get another company to step in. The other company was able to give me a door to door quote within 2 days. It's now 4 weeks since AR promised me a quote that they new was urgent. I leave in two more day and I still haven't gotten anything back from them despite my calling them to enquire. What a Joke of a company. Not to mention lady who answer the phone is never professional. Moving is stressful enough, then to deal with you clowns.
